Locating Special Needs is a project challenges the regulatory limits of standard "Universal Design" by treating disabled inhabitants as expert users of their environment. Through physical documentation and participatory design sessions with the AMM - Apang Manav Mandal community, the campus was redeveloped into a residential and vocational training center that prioritizes the lived experience of its users over mere compliance. By integrating housing with specialized training facilities, the architecture actively supports the journey from dependence to employability.
